Abdulrahman Al Gaoud, Bahrain ’s Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs (left) , and his Deputy Officer, Mr. Ahmed Nemat Ali (center), who conveyed the Bahrain government’s appreciation for the Philippine government’s accommodation of more frequent flights of Gulf Air flying the route Bahrain-Manila-Bahrain. The arrangement will enhance bilateral relations by encouraging trade investments, employment and tourism between the two countries.

Aguiluz V, President Arroyo’s Special Envoy to the Gulf Cooperation Council Member States, joined Saudi Ambassador Mohammed Ameen Wali in greeting Kuwaiti Ambassador Badr Nasser Al Houti (center) on the occasion of Kuwait National Day reception at Shangrila Makati on February 24, 2005. The State of Kuwait is one of the six countries comprising the GCC. It hosts the Gulf Arab States Educational and Research Center where Aguiluz initiated a joint undertaking in the field of measurement in educational standards and Arabic training among Filipino Muslim teachers.
