Arab Gulf investments opportunities and support for OFWs

Aguiluz V, President’s Special Envoy to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States, has initiated consensus-building among GCC ambassadors to encourage more investments to the Philippines and to protect the rights and promote the welfare of Filipino workers in the Gulf countries. Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz V, President’s Special Envoy to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States, was received in Ajman, United Arab Emirates by its Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and Prince Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. Ajman is one of the seven emirates that confederated under one country named United Arab Emirates. Aguiluz conveyed the President’s gratitude to the Ruler for taking good care of the Filipinos in Ajman and invited Ajman businessmen to invest in the Philippines. Sheikh Humaid also thanked Aguiluz for planning to organize trade mission to Ajman. (July 10, 2011)
