GMA honors Bahrain PM. Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo poses with His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa (center), Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain after conferring the latter the highest form of recognition by the Republic of the Philippines, The Order of Lakandula with the Rank of Supremo (Grand Collar). The award is conferred upon a head of state or government, in memory of Lakandula’s dedication to the responsibilities of leadership, prudence, fortitude, courage and resolve in the service of one’s people.
