Scholarships for OFWs. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo presented to the Overseas Filipino Workers during her recent meeting with the Filipino community in the Kingdom of Bahrain the Certificate of Scholarship granted by Ambassador Amable R. Aguiluz V, President’s Special Envoy to GCC and Chairman of the AMA International University. The 5 million pesos amount of scholarships will benefit 1,000 dependents of OFWs under the PGMA scholarship program at TESDA and enrolled in short courses at any of the branches of AMA in the Philippines. Interested OFWs must apply at the Philippine Embassy in Manama.
